can I still sign up online account? Went to the toit.io, can not find anything for opening a new account

The old Toit v1 is still available under https://console.toit.io. However, we have started work on a v2, so eventually the v1 will go away. If you want to play with an alpha of the v2, that's here: https://github.com/toitware/artemis-releases
