How can I make my toit jaguar NOT advertise on UDP...

08/10/2026, 11:51 AMBasically got too many devices running, and its clogging up the wifi. Can I stop it from advertising? 🙂
I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but I now think I'm being blind.

08/11/2026, 10:38 AMSupport seems to be only halfway implemented. The device recognizes a flag, but the CLI doesn't have a way to send it...
So this is a bug.

We just have a very noisy 2.4ghz room with BLE etc, and having 20 ESPs also doing jaguar UDP adverts was a bit much xD

08/12/2026, 9:17 AMI imagine even having them maintain a 2.4ghz wifi connection while running (which I imagine happens even with artemis out of the box) liekly still causes some pain, but I'll think more about that on another day.
Either just being able to sleep the wifi between usages, or chekcins (maybe it already does this)
Or also i was thinking of having a "hub" device or something that connects to the wifi, and then tries to talk to the others over ESPNOW and or bluetooth instead 😛

08/12/2026, 1:41 PMArtemis doesn't maintain any connection unless you use max-offline=0. (And if you use our server please don't do that as it hammers our server)
