Wanted to share a project I've been working on. The goal is to build out tooling for working with Toit IoT devices. This is a web UI that hooks into the jag endpoints to give a central management view. It currently supports the following: 1. Device discovery - both via the jag UDP and via explicit IP or IP range. ( I run my IoT devices on a dedicated VLAN so this was important). 2. Device Card configuration - I have a separate project that allows devices to use the Homeassistant MQTT auto discovery and the cards hook into this to allow you to feed MQTT values directly to the cards (the process has an embedded MQTT client). You can also specify a topic and path (ex payload.subObject.fieldName) to get data to a card. 3. Container installation - One of the things I have a problem with is keeping track of what is running on my devices. Pushing the container via the web UI stores the source and image file in the database so you can view or download the source. It keeps a history of all versions pushed in addition to the current one. The UI also caches different SDKs, so when you go to push code to a device it will either use the cached SDK, or if the device you are updating has a different version it will download it and use that for the image build. 4. The aforementioned other project links really nicely into HA and gives tons of device and MQTT client telemetry along with your configured sensors.
