Sorry to be dense, but can someone explain in a few words Jaguar's timeout mechanism?

[jaguar] ERROR: program 252a2c99-7124-bb68-67b9-b3ab850a8063 timed out after 16m40s

Why does that happen? I have tasks running in the background, and the main task is just looping a long sleep command... and I don't recall this happening before 🙂
