'firmware' command without -o option

That's a bug in the documentation. I will fix it asap. The flag exists, but it can't be used as early. It must come after the
container install
It should be:
firmware -e firmware.envelope container install -o hello.envelope hello hello.envelope
Updated documentation is building and should be online within ~10minutes.
k
👍🏻 thank you
An other question: Is
jag run -d host --assets=xxx.assets yyy.toit
supported ?
f
Probably not, but let me check
actually, it should be.
There is the
--assets
flag.
Behind the scenes
container install
and
run
use very similar paths, so if
container install
supports a feature then
run
should too.
k
my test works on esp32 but on host the assets is empty
f
aah.
didn't see the
-d host
.
Yes. that doesn't work.
-d host
takes a different path internally.
Not completely sure, how I would add assets to desktop applications. If I don't forget and Kasper isn't on vacation next week, I will maybe discuss it with him.
k
great 👍🏻
@kasperl It is still unclear, if *assets * can be assigned to a *host * device.
f
We don't support that yet.
k
To avoid ambiguities, a note could be included in the 'jag run' help ... ?
f
Yes. Or make it work.
