Hi team, We are embedding liveboards and while doing that we programmatically create users and log them into thoughtspot, while that works fine our Snowflake connection in thoughtspot relies on OAuth and it asks our end users to login to snowflake which is not possible because they are not aware about snowflake or even thoughtspot, is there a way we can programmatically log them in to snowflake as well ? or is this a question for the snowflake team .

Quick question to clarify a few features related to ThoughtSpot usage—specifically the “Share” (non-external user) function and the “Recipients” option under the Schedule settings. When a user is using “Share” or adding “Recipients”: . Can they enter any email address? . Or only email addresses for users that exist in the our company application? . Or specifically, email addresses for users that exist in the tracpoint (company application) and have access to the tracpoint(company application)? My assumption is that sharing or adding a recipient is only possible if the user is already created in ThoughtSpot. Could you please confirm?

Hey TS team Quick question about the Search Groups API (/api/rest/2.0/groups/search). If I’m looking at group TS_Test and it is the parent of TESTORGJ, shouldn’t calling TS_Test's guid in the API and searching with "include_sub_groups": true show TESTORGJ under subgroups? Right now I’m not seeing any child groups in the response, even though I know the relationship exists. Is that expected, or am I missing something in the request?

Hi all, I am working on a feature that requires fetching liveboards that have been shared with a particular group. I have been informed that this is possible via the search metadata endpoint, and have been testing it with the following request body:

This is apparently a valid payload that should return the liveboards that have been shared with the group corresponding to groupId. I have tested this with a number of groups that have access to multiple liveboards, but it always returns an empty array. I have been informed that there might be a bug that is causing this. I'm showing the liveboard header so that the user can filter the data shown in the liveboard, but I want to hide one of the filter chips for this particular embed. I know I could remove the filter from the liveboard itself in ThoughtSpot, but I want the filter to be available in other contexts, like within ThoughtSpot, or inside other embeds. We are now working on implementing Spotter for each liveboard. My difficulty is figuring out how to obtain the worksheetId that the Spotter SDK requires, given that we obtain our data from the search API. I have looked into hiding these columns with CSS, but due to the way the HTML for the table is structured and the column widths are determined dynamically, it may be an uphill battle (and maybe impossible). Hello! We are working on a new product and I'm trying to embed a liveboard in it. In our other product we have this working but in the new product the embed widget shows a 403 forbidden error. A few differences: 1. We are now using sub-organizations 2. The old product is in PHP and makes API calls through Guzzle, with the liveboard embedded using vanilla Javascript 3. The new platform is in NextJS (React) with the backend in NestJS, with the liveboard embedded using components What does work: 1. All the backend API calls work 2. I can create users with auto_create=true 3. Users do show up in the sub organization 4. User groups do show up in the sub organization 5. The session callback works and returns a token 6. Hey guys, need help with user roles & filtering. I have Exec / Manager / Sales Rep roles. Exec tab works fine. What I want: Manager tab → filter shows only managers, by user name. Sales Rep tab → if a manager is selected, show only sales reps under that manager and if no manager is selected, show all sales reps. Right now I only have a formula returning the user role, but I need conditional / dependent filtering, not just roles. What’s the cleanest way to do this? Reference, lookup, formula, etc? Thanks 🙏

My INT64 values brought in through a bigquery connection get rounded when they reach the model in thoughtspot. We join tables using ids in this format, and it's very efficient, though very inconvenient that they are not true representations of the actual id in the data model output. One use case we have issues with is dynamic links, using url filters including an ids but as the id is not a true version of the original integer, this approach does not work, beside many other drawbacks. Are there any fixes or work arounds for this issue? Is there any limitations apply on intercept API feature ? Or we can intercept any api triggered from embedded components?

The clients for our embedded use case aren't tech literate enough to take advantage of the Muze visualization styling, so we'd like to explore the option of removing it. I don't see documentation on how - can you confirm if this is possible? Importantly, we'd hope to disable this via the embed - or at the very least at an Org level, as we also have internal users using the native ThoughtSpot UX who may benefit from Muze.

We're using ThoughtSpot embed SDK and seeing that buttons and other components are getting style rules like: height: 2.2857142857rem width: 2.2857142857rem These look to be calculated values rather than anything an Engineer would code but this scaling is causing the layout to appear poorly relative to TSA. Is there something we can set in the config to disable this scaling?

Morning TS Team! We are facing some side effects using "--ts-var-root-color". 1. The root color is then overriding the tertiary button text color in the Liveboard styling section. Using --ts-var-liveboard-styling-button-text-color doesn't solve the issue as it doesn't seem to apply to this specific button. 2. The root color is overriding the color of a visualization title and description. Even without a root color set it's stil blackish and not visible on a darker background. hello TS Team, I'm seeing an issue with the filter bar in a ThoughtSpot embed When multiple filters are applied, the filter chips wrap onto additional rows. The filter section is supposed to be collapsible, but it doesn't appear to resize or collapse correctly. Once the filters expand to a third row, the filter container overlaps the visualization beneath it (graph/table), making part of the content inaccessible.
