Hey All, Tiber Taber Fashion Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for Design Associate (Fashion). The role will be as follows. Your Role: ● Should be responsible for drawings, design details, specifications, and overall sample development. ● Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques, and seeking design inspiration. ● Creating production sketches for development packages to final tech pack creation. ● Develop new design concepts/collections based on consumer needs and tastes. ● Managing the design process from conception through to final styling. ● Reviewing products for style and fit, iterating and delivering the right fit. ● Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to lines, and create new concepts. ● Select fabrics and trims in collaboration with the sourcing team. ● Being prompt and actively communicating with the pattern master and the tailors and embroiderers sampling team to develop samples as per brief/sketch. Must-Have: ● Degree in design or fine arts, or college degree in fashion design or related field. ● 1.5+ years of design experience. ● Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and fit. ● Ability to communicate clearly using fabric/measurements/garment construction terminology and written and verbal skills. ● Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work on a continual basis, and work with limited supervision ● Knowledge of different types of fabrics, surface techniques, and basic construction know-how. Software Skills Required: ● Strong knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop ● Hand / digital sketching and illustration ability to communicate design concepts ● Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. ● Strong communication, conceptual thinking, and design skills.
