The overall objective of the HR Intern is to assist the Human Resource Team in handling preparing for recruitment needs, and planning employee-focused events managing stakeholders. Possessing strong organizational skills and efficient work habits are qualities sought in an HR Intern. In return, the HR intern will work closely with the Vice President – HR and will receive hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a human resources department. Responsibilities • Screening potential employees' resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies. • Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates. • Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms. • Assisting the HR staff in gathering market salary information. • Preparing and sending offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates. • Coordinating new hire orientations. • Gather payroll data like bank accounts and joining documents • Prepare HR-related reports as needed The HR intern must be in pursuit of a degree in Human Resources. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Data Analytics, or a related field. Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and take initiative Collaborative with a natural curiosity; mindset that finding creative solutions is fun Passion for the employee and candidate experience Must be seriously interested in Human Resources and/or Organizational Development as a discipline Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office An agile thinker who can work independently and deliver results while time-managing multiple projects simultaneously.
