Hello hello, TSOWers! 👋 We’ve got an announcement about some upcoming changes to our channels, and we want to explain the reasons behind them before we put them into action: 1️⃣ We’re archiving the #employee-engagement channel and renaming #employer-branding-and-candidate-experience to #employee-experience, where we can discuss employer branding, employee engagement, and candidate experience Reason: We’ve noticed that #employee-engagement has fewer questions, and members can easily post about employee engagement in the new #employee-experience channel 2️⃣ We’re transforming the #general channel into an #announcements-only channel, where only admins can post. Since we have many initiatives and announcements, this dedicated channel will help keep important information visible and accessible to all members Reason: As TSOW hosts multiple events and initiatives, we want to ensure announcements reach as many members as possible, reducing the need for individual DMs 3️⃣ We’re renaming #expert-ama to #general-qna-forum, where you can post your general questions Reason: We no longer host AMA sessions, so it makes sense to repurpose the channel as a general Q&A forum Our main goal with these updates is to make the community more organized, user-friendly, and less overwhelming for new members by reducing the number of channels and focusing on the most active ones.
