Hi folks, One of our employees is looking to obtain his UAN id without having to opt for PF deduction. Is there any way to do that?

Hi @Jayati Behere UAN only allots to those, who opt for PF. If you are not registered under the PF scheme, you can not get the UAN.

Once you attempt to generate UAN, You have to remit PF. Either Opt out of PF or else pay

Without a PF contribution, UAN for the employee is not generated.
