On part time work - I agree that the tight feedback loop required to be effective in software makes part time work difficult unless it's very specialized consulting the team becomes very proficient at async written communication like Gumroad. However, it seems like part time work is the most practical answer right now, especially in the current macro economy where a sustainable, profitable business is preferable to "growth at all costs".
