why is it that the atmos list commands take a while to run whilst fetching outputs and stuff but if I execute the atmos tui is instantaneous

By default the UI disables processing of functions (eg state lookups)
But the list commands exist to view the configuration
The more functions used the slower those commands get
Those commands also support disabling functions
