Trying to understand what "import" is being referenced in the error below. I tried setting logs to both debug and trace and couldn't figure it out 🤔
Copy code
$ atmos describe affected

   Error

   Error: failed to find import
$ atmos tf plan --affected

   Error

   Error: failed to find import
a
please provide the config execute
atmos validate stacks
- might show oyu more info please open an issue on GH
j
Copy code
$ atmos validate stacks
✓ All stacks validated successfully
Will do
@Andriy Knysh (Cloud Posse) @Erik Osterman (Cloud Posse) a thought occurred to me...if the main branch has nothing (brand new repo), this is expected to fail...?
e
Well, that’s helpful information. I wouldn’t think that it’s expected to fail, but instead should handle that situation
That’ll give us a lot to go on though if that’s what happened
j
we're preparing to migrate from bitbucket to github
and we're setting up the foundational work in github
e
So just to confirm, you encountered this error on an empty repo?
j
I switched to
main
which had zero configs

and, yes, I reproduced the error
So now the question is what would I need for bare bones
🤔
e
Honestly, this should be an easy fix.
I wouldn't invest too much time in a workaround.
If you open up the GitHub issue, I'll dispatch copilot on it.
j
e
Hah, sorry, too many open workstreams to keep it straight in my head
j
no worries - happens to me too
out of curiosity, what would a workaround be? placeholder atmos.yaml and stacks folder be there?
a
what atmos version and the utils provider version are you using?
j
Atmos v1.209.0
utils provider?
a
terraform init downloads the providers, including cloudposse/utils
want to know the version
might not be related to your issue, but another user reported a similar issue, and it looks like it's related to the utils provider
j
not using cloudposse components for the repo in question
