02/18/2026, 4:15 PMec2-autoscale-group module vendored as a component and it doesn’t contain a component.yaml file so atmos-component-updater doesn’t pick it up. Does this mean we should create our own or is there a way to generate this file on the fly ?
2. Also, we have to manually copy the <http://providers.tf|providers.tf> mixin into this. Just checking if this is the “correct” way to do this.RB

02/18/2026, 7:48 PMproviders.tf, so you need to add it to the vendor file (which you did)
• since it's not a component, it also does not have component.yaml - you can create it and add to the folder, or try using the new Atmos generate feature to generate the file from the config in the component YAML (see https://atmos.tools/examples/generate-files)
let me know how it goes
