12/16/2025, 6:28 PM• On March 1, 2026, we are introducing a new $0.002 per-minute GitHub Actions cloud platform charge that will apply to self-hosted runner usage. Any usage subject to this charge will count toward the minutes included in your plan.

12/16/2025, 9:43 PMhah, well, it's only 0.002 per minute. I think it's a fair move, especially as tons of companies have sprung up offering managed runners.

12/17/2025, 8:27 AMa per-minute fee for self-hosted hardware feels a bit too much, a per-job fee would have been better accepted I think

12/22/2025, 4:34 PMWe’ve read your posts and heard your feedback.
1. We’re postponing the announced billing change for self-hosted GitHub Actions to take time to re-evaluate our approach.
2. We are continuing to reduce hosted-runners prices by up to 39% on January 1, 2026.
