@Rocky I’m standing up Fluss-Paimon stack with StarRocks as query engine. Fluss 1.0.0 was recently released. Are there plans to bump the Fluss version from 0.9.1-incubating to 1.0.0? Or should I open an issue - Enhancement or Feature Request?
r
Apache Fluss 1.0.0 was released in late September 2026, marking its graduation to a Top-Level Project (TLP). This release removes the
-incubating
suffix and introduces significant changes, such as the new lake table schema (FIP-27). As of now, there is no public tracking issue or active Pull Request in the StarRocks repository specifically for bumping the Fluss dependency from 0.9.1-incubating to 1.0.0. Recommendation Yes, you should open an issue in the StarRocks GitHub repository. * Issue Type: Enhancement or Feature Request are both appropriate. * Context to include: Mention that Fluss 1.0.0 is the first TLP release and that the
-incubating
suffix is now removed. If you are specifically looking for support for the new 1.0.0 features (like the updated lake table schemas), highlight that as well, as StarRocks’ current Fluss integration (currently in Beta/WIP) may need updates to remain compatible with the 1.0.0 client and storage format. Opening an issue will help the maintainers prioritize the version bump and ensure the "Fluss-Paimon-StarRocks" stack remains stable with the latest releases.
