When I try to run codeception tests, I get
Starting PhantomJS Server.
Waiting for the PhantomJS server to be reachable...........
In Phantoman.php line 152:
Codeception\Extension\Phantoman
PhantomJS server never became reachable.
Any obvious things I forgot to do?
i
vendor/bin/phantomjs --webdriver=4444 --disk-cache=true --load-images=false &
If you do not have the
vendor/bin/phantomjs
in place, run
composer script-run post-install-cmd
. It will install phantomjs.

we are talking about docker-sdk, right? Are you using
docker/sdk testing
and/or
-t
flag?
s
@plain-barista-64036 yes to both @incalculable-gigabyte-47229 Never saw that in any of the docs. Will try that right now. thx!
i
This should be done with the composer install I think.
p
@steep-receptionist-20341 Are you trying this in dev mode (
docker/sdk boot deploy.dev.yml
)?
s
composer has a habit of installing PhantomJS every time I do anything, as if it doesn’t really install it but I get no error either.
> PhantomInstaller\Installer::installPhantomJS
sh: /data/vendor/bin/phantomjs: not found
Caught exception while checking PhantomJS version:
Undefined offset: 0
- Installing phantomjs (2.1.1): Loading from cache
it does this every time i use composer install

Let me check with the team. I will be back soon

@steep-receptionist-20341 In general PhantomJs installation (failed or not) does not impact on anything in docker setup. If you are really concerned I would suggest to remove PhantomJS from composer.json in section
Copy code
post-install-cmd, post-update-cmd
But in this case if you still use devvm or similar solution you would need to install PhantomJs manually.
P.S. Spryker docker SDK does not use phantomjs in PHP containers. The separate container is rosen for serving E2E tests.
