    well, for something initial we can just make the character jumping with his arms up, maybe some side effects moving around? something like confetti or a crown, if it's for something simpler something close to the screen of among us but more "happy" with the character dancing 🧐

    Hi! Really sorry I didn't reply for so long, been a bit swamped with other stuff the last few days In development I've been using 800x450 resolution but I think this is still subject to change as not a lot of thought has gone into it so far, so it's up to you whether you want to work with that - As an interim the celebration/dancing animation can definitely still be used though if you make one, wondering about something like the winning player could celebrate in place on the map and the UI comes up overlayed - I think this could look really good Separately, what would be amazing if you wanted to work on would be the explosion animations! What I essentially need is some 32x32px tiles, I think to make the bombs feel really impactful it would look good for the explosion to almost instantly and fizzle out more slowly, I did some testing with just red squares and it seemed like around 600ms was a good length of time In traditional bomberman style the explosions go outwards orthogonally - right now the bombs have a reach of one adjacent tile in each direction so would need 5 tiles to cover this - in future, will likely implement powerups, for example maybe bombs that have a longer reach, so that would require two extra tiles (one vertical and one horizontal as intermediate between the center tile and the extremity tiles) The explosions take effect instantly once the bomb goes off so the animation may have to break physicals slightly as the whole cross must have some explosion from the first frame as opposed to spreading out from the central tile If you need anything else or have any ideas please please let me know!

    What’s already there works. Would be awfully nice to have footage with explosion effects though 😁 I guess we never got around to making custom ones? Any kind of placeholder art would be fine for starters really.

    I would think it's a good idea to get another one since that was taken before the camera shake was implemented - I can probably get one at some point but I'm under a lot of exam stress at the minute - not really in a position to be trying to implement effects rn, currently working 8+ hours a day including weekends for my degree

    There is an open draft PR using block translucent colours for an explosion effect while I was waiting on an animation (see ), might suit your needs? But it's really intended just for debug - not sure it would look good in a video

    Bomby's story spinning around the Fish Death Show, where fishes blowing each other up to the death to win a prize. One or more main characters (if there will be a cooperative story walkthrough) decided to participate in this show to get a prize. There also maybe should be a tragic reason why they decided to participate in this show, Well, or the main characters are only interested in the prize, why not 🤷‍♀️

    Different levels in different styles can be explained by the fact that this is a show, so there may be levels to the fantasy, space style, nautical, etc.

    I could also make sprites of the bomb before the explosion, if it will blushes, it will be better understood that there will be an explosion
