you could do auto deploy branches instead or prs and it will have nicer names - thats what I do

Right now we have the branch based. But it does not show build status in gitlab for the MR and any developer can mistakenly merge the MR as we are moving the entire cicd to gitlab , and finally want branch to be mergable if all unit tests and integrations pass only

Ah I see gitlab was your first mistake then 😅 /s Not sure if it is possible to make the branch deploys show on prs for gitlab only used gitlab once and never went back to it

well they have a lot of freebies, our team is still on their free plan. With vercel it works precfectly
