Just looking into SEED. 😍 🥰 💕
Honestly, could you stop making our lives so much easier.
I still don't understand why I don't constantly read about ya'll all over my twitter feed.
Actually, out of interests sake, and absolutely no intention of insinuating anything negative, who is the developer advocate / primary marketing person for ya'll? Want to make sure I am following them.
f
Haha Thanks @Sean Matheson. It’s been mostly @Jay leading the marketing side of things.
j
lol I think we should be doing more to market ourselves then! @Sean Matheson Any tips or things you’ve seen other folks do that we should be doing?
s
I certainly can't pretend to be an expert in this respect, but I have noticed a trend of companies hiring for a developer advocate role. Someone who lives on twitter, reddit, blogs, engagement with conferences/meetups, collaboration with other frameworks, etc. An evangelist getting the word in every corner.
I imagine that as a cofounder you might not always have the time budget available to do all the things. 🙂
Wonder if something like an Egghead / Frontendmaster etc video course might be a little extra treat.
j
Yeah that makes sense. Definitely need to start looking for that role. For the course, we’ll need to look into this. It’s a good idea! As an aside, I know @elliotforbes is going to be working on a SST + Go course for https://tutorialedge.net.

I found some time this morning and managed to record + publish the first 2 videos - if you sign up and send me across the email addresses you use, I can grant access to premium videos and let you review them for free 👌 https://tutorialedge.net/courses/go-serverless-rest-api-course/
j
Yup, signed up as jay@serverless-stack.com

Nice, you should have access now. I will hopefully be putting out a few videos a week depending on availability!
j
Awesome! Thanks Elliot!
