Hi all! Am I understanding correctly that anything that CDK can provide SST can do the same? CDK is releasing too fast, and I am curious if you are at their pace :)

Yeah we internally use CDK. We update it pretty regularly. But if you want us to update to the latest version right away, just let us know.

I am fine right now. I just saw that CDK released version 1.90.1. and was just curious if you have to release as much as they release. Have the feeling whenever I want to work with CDK, I have to update first..

Yeah, usually if it's support for something specific you are looking for.

@John Nguyen I was talking to the CDK team about this. With CDK v2, SST will be able to add CDK as a peer dependency, and ppl can use newer CDK versions without SST needing to update it.

That would be awesome 🎉 I am currently looking at Lambdas with Container images. I think CDK is supporting it now.

Oh I see. Are all your Lambdas will be using containers?
