Question: I created the Scratch note taking app a while back and it was a great experience. I would now like to use that setup to create a new app. Is there an article or anything out there about Best Practices for taking the Scratch App, cloning it, and creating a new application? If so, awesome. If not, I think that could be a really great tool for people out there to be directed to after completing the Scratch App.

it as pretty straightforward to use that as a template for me. I’ve found the #help channel to be a great resources when I run into more specific questions. I do generally agree that a best practices doc would be useful, especially as a person who likes convention. I also think an

infrequently asked questions

would be helpful.

Yeah, my problem is I created the notes app like 4 months ago, so trying to remember how everything fits together and what I need to change after I clone it to create a new app is tough.

I will definitely post it somewhere. 1) To help other people and 2) Selfishly, to have other people look at it to see if I missed anything important lol
