@elegant-house-93198 flagging for you
e
@gentle-translator-17986 this is an issue with our documentation, we do not currently extract that last updated at timestamp and I’ve updated the documentation to reflect that. However, it looks like you can retrieve the last updated timestamp, so I’ve added a ticket to our backlog to get this info.
g
@elegant-house-93198 - thanks! yeah getting that "Last Updated" from Redshift tables is a bit tricky so that's why i was surprised we had that feature. Is there a way that temporarily we can hide that column? it just feels that
Not available
is an issue on "our side" but it really is because that Metadata is not pulled to Secoda (so it creates an experience where it suggests the Documentation is not really complete)
e
Yeah you can temporarily hide it by clicking the “Customize” button in the top right and toggling that column @gentle-translator-17986
g
Thanks so much Andrew! i might be missing something 😞 but on the
Collections > Tables
there is really not a
Customize
button (i can see under the
Catalog
view) So the current behavior would be: • User clicks on
Collections
• User clicks on
Tables
• User sees
Not available
on all Redshift tables. Specially since there are only 5 columns in this view the
Not available
really stands out
e
Ah, I thought you were talking about the catalog page, not the collections page. We’re releasing a new update to the collections page that will allow you to customize the columns for the table. That should be released by the end of the week
g
@elegant-house-93198 qq was this released yet? i have been checking since last week but nothing yet
e
Not yet @gentle-translator-17986, it will be available early next week. Our engineer that started the project is on vacation and will be back on Monday
g
Hi @elegant-house-93198 nothing quite yet here right?
e
That’s correct @gentle-translator-17986, the project was delayed but should be out by the end of today
