Hi, can anyone tell me, for Looker, what the lineage relationships between dashboards and Looks are? I’m trying to set up automations but I can’t tell if Looks are parents or children of dashboards, so I can propogate metadata. Is this possible at all?

Appreciate your patience here Ethan! So Looks would actually be upstream of Dashboards as they can make up parts of a Dashboard. Currently you can propagate downstream from Looks to Dashboards, but not upstream from Dashboards to Looks.

Thanks! It would be really nice to go in the opposite direction, so that if I set a dashboard as published I could propogate that property to all looks on that dashboard. It doesn’t seem super helpful to go from Look to dashboard
