notifications are a bane of every product team's existence. nobody likes building them. on top of it they're hard to get right. slack is one of the few who got it right. they make sure you dont get the same notification twice.

correct, isn’t that reasonable enough? workforce doesn’t like to be nagged about work? unlike a food delivery, cab aggregator, e-commerce app. I’m inclined to believe it’s more to do with the fundamental user psychology itself so it’s an obvious thing to do.
