Thank you for sharing, Rapti. Glad to see SEO is still top channel in marketing channel.

@Dipen Visavadiya no wonder this company also happens to sell SEO services, i'm sure just a random detail :P
@Rapti pure junk. completely overlooks the impact a company's brand might have on the overall equation or the competitiveness in your industry or even what price point or current scale you might be selling at. SaaS is a delivery model, just like online food ordering. averaging all companies/restaurants through this single lens just kills any credibility of these numbers whatsoever.

Fair. Follow up question: Do you ever look at benchmarks? If you do, what kind of business benchmarks/reports do you personally like to look at for SAAS?
a
i used to only at the behest of my clients. and overtime i have realised every company, every case is unique. i ask a question, am i doing the best work possible? if yes, then screw benchmarks. if no, then focus on doing my personal best. just because a benchmark says 'oh, my ctr needs to be 10%'. i will not wake up and say, 'damn, i need to stop being lazy and pull those tricks to improve ctr that i have been hiding all this while'.

great processes lead to great outcomes. so focus on building the best process possible for any work you do. outcomes are an outcome of the process.

Love that thought!

some of their source are their own blogs that are 2 years old. If you are looking at benchmarks - you should look for one which is based on data which is credible.

Which are those credible ones @Niranjan Bala
n
for e.g Instapage https://instapage.com/blog/google-ads-industry-benchmarks reporst are likely more credible as they have access to a large amount of data courtesy their customers
