subdomains are considered as separate standalone site. As long as there is no technical constrain, I'd prefer later (xyz.com/blogs) any day.

Why though @Vijay Choudhary? For the ease of seo purposes or any other reasons?
s
Sub folder performs much better for SEO than subdomain

Unless you have a specific goal, such as events or different geographic locations, or you have huge website with lots of content, it is better to use a subfolder than subdomain. Disney is one such example. Thereโ€™s nothing wrong in using subdomains but it could possibly take much longer to see results unlike subfolders.

The only thing that would differ would be tracking. If you don't want to go through search console reports and filters a lot, you can choose a subdomain. Subfolder or subdomain don't affect seo
But I would prefer subfolders, reason - better silos

I chatted with Tim Hanson https://fivethreeoh.com/ who suggested the same thing - go for xyz.com/blogs This Semrush article suggests it's hard to be absolutely certain that one is better than the other, but ultimately recommends subfolder https://www.semrush.com/blog/subdomain-vs-subdirectory/
