In my experience if you are comparing two numbers you perceive to be same and they are not same its most likely due to the following reasons: 1. bad instrumentation 2. time zone configuration in individual systems. 3. looking at data which follows totally different definitions. 4. also to note (GA sometimes doesn't show all data, it applies sampling at times, so might want to check that too)

You'll always see discrepancies in two measurement tools. Advice here is to have one source of truth and keep following it to get a sense of where you are headed.

Most data reporting tools have different ways of capturing or measuring data (which this impact the data shown to you). Like @Keshav Trehan said, choose one and follow that so you know where you are headed directionally
