Here's something that'll really be helpful.
Pick a niche
Get a list of all keywords that will help you dive deeper into that niche
Start a website/blog. Use any cms like WordPress/Ghost, start writing, editing and publishing content by yourself.
Once you're done with the aforementioned steps, you'll have decent understanding of on-site SEO and SEO copywriting. After this, you can now proceed with learning complex tasks such as log file analysis, crawl budget optimization, fixing search console errors and more.
PS: Learning MS Excel and having a command on it would also help you (a lot).
