I think we need a tool to keep track of all the tools. Not kidding and I don't mean G2. I mean a place which can recommend which tool to use for what stage of the company, what use case and for what budget.

@Aniruddh Jain I would have clearly gained from an opinionated list. Now, I have my own for a bootstrapped B2B Saas company. 🙂

@Srikrishna Factors.ai It tangentially solves a part of what I'm saying. Even if it has those features, 99% of us can't use it. We need to be their customers and on a certain plan to be able to use it. What I really meant was a free/subscription based always updated tool with an interface like Zomato/Swiggy. You simply select right options for filters like: Budget, Use-case, Industry and other marketers who have used it can just put a rating and review on which one worked best.

@Aniruddh Jain can we create such a DB but the update is a pain. Maybe a quarterly reminder email to folks to update their tech stack.

@Swarnendu Dutta manually updating is not optimal. Someone like a BuiltWith/Slintel can make a "most-used-together" list based on the technologies they see appearing together for different businesses, which can be constantly updated. They can potentially provide this information based on company sizes and industry, for example, 'SaaS businesses with 10-50 people size use these 5 tools in their marketing most often.'
