Yeah that might also work depending on how big a list you have. ML works best when you have more data (>1000 customers). Simultaneously you can also try to promote TOF gated content through FB and then use customer match to reach out to these people through FB again, but this time with a BOF messaging.

@Ankit, Few Targeting options that you can try • FB Page Admins (focussing on D2C founder’s) + Job Titles we tried with only business page admins but received a lot of junk so clubbed job titles and got good results • If you have any existing customer list, create a lookalike and you can target those as mentioned by @Aniruddh Jain it works best if you have a list of atleast 1000 • Another targeting options would be on Interest based + Job titles

Job title data on fb is low quality and personally I have seen it limits the reach a lot, but worth trying ofcourse. @Ankit tof content can be anything of interest to these D2C brand owners, things like “top 10 strategies to grow your D2C store”, “How world's best D2C brands tackle churn and reduce abandoned carts” are two examples. Something which everyone would be interested to read.

Is there any information present on a store website that would be helpful in building custom audiences on FB? Asking because we’ve built a sales intelligence engine for e-commerce wherein we provide social media accounts, email/tel, and address listed on the stores. But, so far customers have been using the email for cold outreach.
