Few practices I use to follow:
Things you can do yourself
• Take the list of attendees from the organiser.
• Divide it amongst your sales team your sales process
• Ask sales reps to do their reserch on each of those accounts and person attending
Have a small pitch ready for each of those accounts
• If possible create a customised handout for top priority accounts
For booth
• make sure it is engaging.. have some games or goodies.. Darwinbox use to do it really well.. maybe have a popcorn stall
• Make sure its location is at a noticable area
• Give away a branded paperbag to carry
Activities you can drive through organiser
• share your top priority accounts and ask them for personal intros with your team
• Ask organiser to share 2-3 mailers pre event about your company and something which u can provide at event.. should be beneficial to attendees
Make sure you have a robust post event activities planned with your sales team with achievable numbers. Do track them thoroughly with them.
