1. Hit or miss. Never consistent 2. G2 3. With little to decent success with intent data, what I have seen work is a combination of cold email+linkedin+display with messaging customised to intent topics. MOF content typically do well (Comparison, Social Proof, case study)

intent data provides some level of prequalification but beyond doing cold outreach across emails, Linkedin, calls and retargeting them with ads there really isn't anything more you can do about it
Also try out Slintel for intent data maybe?

1. Is intent data generally useful? - not very consistent 2. Which are the other credible intent data providers apart from Zoominfo and Bombora? - non found 3. Any improvements you can suggest to the above mentioned process that we follow? - i've tried to gather 1st party data using surveys and AMP functionality emails to match the intent which is shown on zoominfo. and +1 on @Deepan Siddhu's 3rd point.

Has anyone find the technologies specific data as well? Like what all technologies they use hubspot/zoho/freshdesk etc.?
a
have used chrome extensions such as Wappalyzer which shows the technologies for free.. although the data gets updated every 2-3 months.

For technologies, builtwith is really good.

@Gaurav Arora , Thanks! Builtwith vs Zoominfo for technologies?
d
+1 for Builtwith accuracy
a
builtwith is good to find the technologies they are using.

Builtwith users, fyi, weโ€™ve made a product (StackBrain) that goes beyond Builtwith both for technographics and data exploration. Few of our customers are lurking here. On the topic of this thread: @Rakshith Raviprakash , I think intent signals for large company names would be noisy as everyone from job seekers to vendors would be looking them up. No?

@Shubham Bhatia please stay away from Zoominfo or Slintel's technology data, it is grossly inaccurate compared to what you get on Builtwith. For anything on Account intelligence I have had better success building an inhouse team and aiding them with raw data sets like Builtwith/SERush than relying on an external tool.

Thanks @sravan !
I have started builtwith yesterday..
v
How frequent Builtwith data is updated? We found many websites which migrated from particular technology/app and still showing . @Chirayu Patel @Deepan Siddhu @sravan
c
Canโ€™t say about Builtwith. Update frequency varies - few bigger players update their data set quarterly or yearly. At StackBrain, we crawl every domain and subdomain at a 7-30 day frequency, update our customer visible data set every 15 days, and remove uninstalled techs every 30 days.

@Vijay Choudhary it helps to not look at Builtwith as an off the shelf database. In general, I've not seen any issue with their refresh rate and honestly their founders incredibly easy to reach and get a new scrape scheduled or even refresh their data. They are incredibly generous in their fair usage policy too, so I have in the past requested for scrapes while in free plan and only purchased after new data was acquired. But I suspect there might be another reason for your problem. Say the presence of an url
<http://xyz.chargebee.com|xyz.chargebee.com>
validates that company xyz is a customer of chargebee.com. Now they could've churned out of the product but Chargebee does not depreciate the url, then Builtwith will continue to assume that xyz is still a customer of Chargebee. It helps to have a data entry/market research person to operate on top of these raw data sets to make them sales consumable.

Hey @sravan Thanks so much for tip - definitely going to ask founders for new scrape schedule. Reason you mentioned is understandable, but we are able to double check those cases. Problem is - no mention of particular app in Source code of a particular website, and Builtwith showing them. And there were many such cases, which even limits the market research prospect.
