I don't know it's just me, but the CPC recommendations for LinkedIn campaigns have gone up by 45% for me compared to last quarter and that too for the same audience. Anyone else facing the same problem?
r
+1 @Saheen facing the same issue but for a different audience group then cold layer! What is the audience you are running ads for? is it cold or retargeting?
s
Cold layer only. But even retargeting is also costly.
r
retargeting is! I am not seeing the same for cold layer!
s
It might be caused due to larger audiences sizes, try breaking down your campaigns into Enterprise, SMB or other relevant segments
s
Audience size is 40k, Our Target is only Enteprises above 5b USD.
t
maybe a case of learning gone haywire?
s
⬆️@Saheen in that case youight try segmenting high performing vs low performing industry/company/employee size/job titles/seniority segments and distribute budgets accordingly. You can also take a look at having conversion based bid strategy if you’re not already doing it. Ideally you should not go for a audience more than 8k for a single campaign on LinkedIn ads

I am using lead gen forms. Mainly promoting case studies. The campaigns are structured for each industry. The campaign in question is only for retail, US + Canada location, job titles, using company list. Will try job functions instead and see luck. Also cost cap strategy was always crap.
r
have you tried manual cpc? that might actually work given the segment you just mentioned.
it is only available in lead gen campaign type
s
Yes..only using manual CPC
