Focus on three pillars of Outbound Whom to say ? What to say? Where to say? 1 whom to say - It starts with finding the right accounts and buyer persona. Personas’ challenges vary based on industry segments. That is true for metrics and benefits. 2. What to say - Testing the messaging and value proposition considering the mentioned points What does your product address? What is the solution to current challenges? How do customers benefits from it? Your messaging shoulbn’t be saley all the times. You can invite folks to have deep conversations, build relationship and convert opportunities. 3. Choose the right mix of channel for reach out. Email, Linkedin, and Calls works. But limit your frequency of reach outs. Also, timing matters • Remember to record every customer conversion and share insights with internal stake holders. • At this stage, you should listen more often than talk, cos revising any previous intuition matters alot. Once you start seeing some level of success with outbound, you can set and optimise every step to take the game to the next level. Happy Outbounding!

Thanks @Jagadeesh krishnan - this is amazing, this is very much in line with how I've done it so far. The hit rate is significantly higher for founders than it is for Sales though. Curious: how do you tackle "invite folks to have deep conversations, build relationship and convert opportunities", especially when it's going out from a sales leader. Because people often decline it saying either 1/ No OR 2/ Don't sugarcoat a sales agenda.

@Anukriti Singh Founders always get a good response, and the reason is obvious. Contacts may reach back to founders when they need any favor. Back to your question: How to tackle the low response rate? 1. We asked mutual connections to connect people. That has the highest response rates. 2. Our message says more about them and less about us. 3. We even tried to send emails on behalf of CEO IDs and took the CEO for Demo calls. Also, We made some key decisions on account planning. I’m happy to share in DM.

I'd also add a "when to say" to the matrix.
