What is server side tracking? :thinking_face: 

browser sending data to platforms (ga4, facebook, ads, linkedin) - client side tracking
server(backend) sending data to platforms (ga4, facebook, ads, linkedin) - server side tracking

Haven't done it. Would love to join the conversation as well.

We send data to segment from server side. We needed developers to implement it, but it is straight forward.

the segment method is still kinda straightforward to understand. I am looking for someone who has done it via gtm (server side container)

We did this back in 2018-19 in Kommunicate. Firstly all custom with Dev help and then moved to segment 

You may want to talk to backend devs for this. They will be able to explain it much better. 

Actually my confusion is more around how Gtm ( server side container)

I know this guy called Bala. Knows little bit about most things tech. Hope this helps. 

For folks new to SST - Think of it as you capturing all the user data and then choosing what to share with analytics tools, instead of having GA look at all your data whether it needs it or not.
