Yep, We ran for some Japanese KWs. One big learning was that the search terms differ entirely from those used in English-speaking countries. We got the help of a partner from Japan for shortlisting the KWs. Once we narrowed on the KWs, It had a good ROI.

We had reseller partners. Got their help, and later on, we onboarded an agency for SEO who helped with copies as well.

yup, had the same learning as @Aakash. for eg, "conversion rate optimization" was referred to as "dlpo" or "digital landing page optimization". something we wouldnt have known otherwise. also @Prasad Lingawar, what are you planning to do once you generate these leads? do you have a local partner who can close them and support them? if you have one, check with them on what those terms could be. and if not, why are you even generating these leads in the first place 😛

My idea behind running this is we are getting a good number of leads from Japan and two of them are in Pipeline already. Every lead came from organic and for a few relevant keywords we are not ranking that well. I just wanted to see if I can double down on this hypothesis.
I translated English to Japanese and then japanese to English. The english output was not similar to my English input 🤣
