From what I can gauge( I could be wrong), your problem might not just get solved by tracking some metrics regularly if the page has 11k followers and low engagement. In B2B, management always generally feels we are NOT doing enough on LinkedIn. I think, at times, you have to take a step back and look at the bigger picture, so I would recommend revisiting your social media strategy altogether and aligning the cmo on what you guys want to achieve from the channel. I would recommend using social to mainly educate your icp and the positive impact will show in terms of people who become aware of your brand through your social media efforts and take action on your website. The way to measure the impact of social and other dark channels is to implement self-reported attribution on the demo/signup forms because software-based attribution will always wrongly give more credit to demand capture channels like PPC and organic.

Exactly what I said to cmo, it should be more about brand awareness. The larger goal is to get leads or demo requests. Also yes attribution is a problem for socials. How do we do that? Bcos a person might go 7 times over a span of time on social and just later go and book a demo on the website directly. This gets counted to organic as u said. Thats another prob.

Ask your CMO to track DMs, Comments, Company Page views as a metric…not what you guys are The reason being LinkedIn is not a game of likes or followers in B2B
