User here means HubSpot user ( not contacts ).

That would be me who connected those 2 - basically I am the integration user. John is an user - lets say a sales person. I have added him to HubSpot as well as SFDC. Chatting with HS support, I got the cause that it happens when John doesn't exist in HS and SFDC syncs a contact assigned to John to HS. The solution they provided is that they can map it from their backend but it takes some time for that to happen.

Ask your SFDC admin to create a lookup property for users in Salesforce and then sync it with Hubspot user in contact/deal/company object
This will not work on custom objects sync.

Is it like creating a new property similar to the owner properties? If so, how do we work with reports, flows etc which uses the owner property?
