Founders Office: Blanket term used for anyone working with the founder. Can include executive assistants, project/program managers and chief of staff. Chief of Staff: Basically a more defined role who sits at the intersection of the Founder and different department heads. The prime role for this person is to ensure there is no lag between whats there in the founder's head and what the departments are working on. Entrepreneur in Residence: Completely different role. Basic job is to work on incubating completely novel projects, with the aim to start a new business unit or to work on a new product in the same business unit.
