Check if you have lost any backlinks and see if you can get them back and get the new ones. There are multiple factors but this is a major one.

Backlinks should help. Had a similar issue with one of the websites I was managing. Over time with active backlinking helped retain that and discover for the brand keyword at the top. Since your DR will be less for a new domain Google is yet to know your credibility. And backlinks will help with it. Hope this helps.
