^^ I knew that before joining. But, my previous company created a lot of ruckus by sending me threat emails back to back which made me very anxious all the same. But, the issue was not about the non compete. It was about trivial pursuit and the lies. I would never do this to anyone..even a stranger. Respect and trust go both ways. I worked there with zero passion and rigour thanks to the shit he pulled. I did not like it even if I was “just an employee” on his payroll. I was excited to join them at first but that went flying outside the window. I never went above and beyond and worked very transactionally for the money I was being paid for. Thats it. I am guessing startups need more than this no?

You spend an hour and half thinking every aspect of an event messaging, drafting multiple options. Your boss shares an email titled "my thoughts" two days and multiple followups later, which is constructs of your hard work ran through ChatGPT only they are uber-shit.

My problem is if you don't have an opinion, just say so. Running my ideas as prompts through LLMs was something I could've done myself. And I can barely notice your inputs in them. Congratulations - You have basically replaced your brain with an LLM.

I wonder if those praising US folks realize that in most cases there are multiple racists in the company you work for. You feel good as you get paid better and the basic amenities are better. But you are looked down as a brown guy who they pity and gave a helping hand. While they act that your opinions are valuable they get laughed off when you are not around. Americans are good at pretending that they are not racists. They put effort to look so but mostly when they are racist bigots. Don’t get me started about their claim about pride month and LGBTQ.

Whenever they publish a key job, create a linkedin Post saying that a friend of yours is looking for a job in X domain. Talk about him/her being a solid candidate and willing to take a pay cut for a great company. Let the CEO reach out to you and try to get your money first promising that you will connect them. Once you get the money tell them the friend accepted offer from someone else he found.

OP here. It's 1 Lakh. When I was leaving the company, CEO said that it can take a couple of months to settle it down. But even after multiple follow ups, his response isn't clear. Once he replied over email that it will be done in August. I started following up since July, but just a few days back he replied the date isn't clear. It can take longer. I know funding is an issue there but that's not my problem. I should get my dues cleared. I know a guy from the company who is facing a similar problem. I already waited nearly a year for this. I can't wait any longer.
