Hey everyone, new rudderstack user here. We're currently using Customer Labs but looking to move away and I'm just trying to get my head around how rudderstack works. The events we're sending into RS can we find each contact and the associated payload? We can send it back out into BigQuery and check it there but feels like it would be useful to check inside of RS to ensure its pulled the information in properly.

I am using android Rudderstack SDK to send events to rudderstack. From there I am consuming the events via webhook. Is there any way by which I can send some information in headers via rudderstack client. And receive that information in headers of my webhook? Thanks in advance.

Happy new year! I am very happy to explore this community! I am doing research for my business because our new years resolution is to overhaul our attribution/user journey program and we think RudderStack may play a role in this new program. That said, our reason for starting this overhaul is because one of our primary conversions is website visit > phone call to sales team but our demographic is mainly older users with added complexity of multiple family members involved in decision-making. Because of the way dynamic number insertion works in Call Rail, WhatConverts, etc we find very high levels of misattribution as users are recording tracking numbers for use later. Can anyone offer a RudderStack or RudderStack-integrated suggestion or even some things to read to get a new year perspective on our unique misattribution situation as we move towards our new workflow? • You can ask the bot anything and formulate it anyway you’d like but remember that as an AI bot it performs better on questions that are phrased as “how to” questions or questions where you need a concept explained. • Try providing the bot with relevant context if you have an issue and be aware of the limitations with an AI - it can’t fix stuff for you but it can maybe guide you to how you can fix it yourself. • Furthermore, the bot is only able to answer questions related to the related knowledge sources and in case there is something it can’t answer it will say “I don’t know”. • Use the references that the bot provides - even if it is not able to answer your questions directly it always links to the most relevant sources that might help you resolve your problem • Be mindful of PII. Hi How to use the referrerUrl for navigation inside the application without significant changes? it is always equal to "$direct" which is not what we expect. based on the Rudderstack doc it should be working but when the user navigates inside the web app the referral URL is "$direct" in all events we track. could someone help me to find out what's going on https://www.rudderstack.com/docs/event-spec/standard-events/page/

Wondering if anyone else has their BigQuery destination working as expected?

wondering if anyone could help me. I have a problem because i installed rudderstack for the purpose of migrating my database from shopify to sql server and i already followed the procces but the first integration is not happening, do i need to do something extra to export it into sql server for the first time or is this just not possible?

Hi, I am facing issues with Singular integration. I have other destination(Mixpanel) setup for my sources and the events are successful. However for Singular, all events keeps failing with the error

"Missing required value from \"context.device.advertisingId\""

. I checked and can confirm that the advertising id is passed along with the event and I can even see it on the payload for both Singular and Mixpanel.

Hello, in the docs it says that traits should be automatically added to track events. However, I don't see any traits in any of my track events when I inspect them in the "Live events" panel. I've verified that my identify-calls do contain traits. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Hi there - I'm trying to set up rudderstack to take events from an amp page, and forward them to postHog... it claims everything is working (and I can see events), but I dont see the events in my posthog instance (even though rudderstack successfully sent them). I suspect this is because it's sending them to app.posthog.com/batch but my instance is on the EU servers... I tried to change the instance url to eu.posthog.com but then rudderstack fails on every event with a 403... any hints on how to do this?

Hello, I am currently looking into Rudderstack as a tool to consolidate our different ETL and ELT services we use. A problem we currently have with Airbyte is fetching data from Google Ads and Facebook is writing custom queries to get the data structured in a usable way. With the default tables provided by Google and Facebook we can't do much. I noticed in Rudderstack during a demo that you have the default tables but also support custom queries. My question really is, maybe for other users, how easy it is to create usable data tables with Google Ads and Facebook as sources? Is it like in Funnel.io where you just drag and drop, or does it require Graph API knowledge etc?
