The pricing is based on event volume, how do you charge for ETL and Reverse ETL operations?

I posted this 3 months ago but in the #support channel. Surfacing here in the sales channel. Limiting transformations to 5 on the paid starter plan is super confusing. It's the same # as the free plan. You can only have a single transformation per destination, so to use say 10 or even 15 transformations, you'd need 10 or 15 destinations. So there isn't really a way to abuse transformations since it scales at most 1:1 with destinations. The "starter" Paid plan should at minimum have much higher max # of transformations, if not unlimited like the growth plan. Transformations alone isn't a great reason to 2x (or more) of the cost to go from Starter->Growth plan. There are other more important reasons to upgrade to Growth plan (like reverse ETL) The current system makes us make mega transformations as a way around this. Meaning, a single transformation create to apply to multiple destinations. You then just filter the metadata on the event to check for the desitnation name then have different logic.

Hello Team, I am interested in deploying the RudderStack data plan on AWS EKS and then sending data from the application to an S3 bucket. I would like to understand the concept of deploying the dataplan on our side. In that context, what about the control plane? Will we have any limitations when sending data to S3? How is data sent to S3? Is there a mechanism for batching data before sending it? And how will we calculate the cost of this scenario?
