Given that we’re running multiple production voice agents across web chat, and live calling environments, this level of emotional realism would significantly improve call quality and user experience on Retell. Specifically, V3 offers: More natural micro-pauses and breath control Stronger emotional expression (empathy, urgency, excitement) Better interruption handling tone Improved conversational realism in phone-style dialogue For high-intent calls — especially in healthcare, sales, and support — these improvements can directly impact user trust and conversion rates. It would be extremely valuable if Retell could: Add native support for ElevenLabs V3 conversational TTS Allow emotion/expressiveness controls at the node level Support dynamic tone switching mid-conversation We truly believe this would elevate Retell’s voice agents to the next level.
