Any recommendations for a laptop stand to use while working from a sofa? Considering this ONE at the moment

The fundamental problem with these height adjustable mini tables (like the LUMI one) is that most of them have a terrible support beam (only 1 too) which makes them unstable. My 16k Featherlite table was an absolute waste of money

@faint-energy-11966 I saw similar customer reviews across the board for all these mini tables to be flimsy. 😅

I used this for many years. If you are sitting cross legged or side ways (with your back supported on a side arm), then this is quite convenient and works well. https://amzn.to/3OEQMau Better options exist today. Search for “lap cushion for laptops”. Though I did not use this as my primary place of working. Used once in a while.

@mammoth-kilobyte-43714 I bought the table you are looking for about 6 years back for working out of my couch and bean bags. not comfortable at all. got back pain. Currently it’s used as a Writing desk for my son. I would recommend a comfort pillow in bigger size. that’s what made it Ok ish to work out of couches. it’s just my opinion. unless you try out it’s really difficult to find the right product that fits every one for this.

@dazzling-area-12023 thanks for sharing, I get back pain with the slightest of discomfort. I’ve been piling two regular pillows at home and then using them as a stand for the moment. Guess I will stick to something similar then. I am 6ft tall so keeping my legs in between the stand might be difficult as well.
