Some interesting finds, I’d prefer being a millionaire someday minus all the LV, Gucci, rolex shit for sure as I think they are just signalling items

I agree with you, and I think India has a lot more of those due to the range of demographic that we have. For example, I think the sugarcane belt of Maharashtra may have a lot more millionaires than Mumbai, and they wouldn't be on any list, they would not be purchasing Guccis and Rolexes,

Yeah, most rich folks have a huge staff of people doing their basic chores for them. So this 12-14 hrs work day is just PR bullshit

Number could easily be double - lots of folks with 8cr+ that don't pay tax
And completely unaccounted for

I've always maintained that the IT department's time would be better spent getting a list of everyone that buys luxury cars and audit them instead of what they do currently. But that would include politicians - so everyone has to deal with the complex taxation.

@helpful-gigabyte-47939 can easily exclude politicians lol. I'm sure the IT dept has a list :) Most of the ones with luxury cars are business owners who buy them to reduce tax. Or just purchase in pure cash.
