Any performance marketers or Facebook media buyers here? I recently closed my first media buying client for 20-25 hrs/week of work (Meta + Google ads) and now in talks to potentially close another agency client for 30 hrs/week (Facebook ads). Question is, will this be too much workload for a beginner (55 hrs/week)?

Facebook Media buyer here. It depends on how much budget you are handling or how many clients will the agency give you. Handling a single client is usually very less work, even if you are doing the creatives as well. So, my point is, even if it is 55hrs/week actual work should be quite lower than that.

So I'm guessing the 25hrs/week for the first client can be trimmed down to 10hrs/week. - I'll be writing copy, and do end-to-end FB media buying. (pixel setup to bidding to tracking), and google ads too! For the agency, they probably have clients in the $20k to $200k per month ad spend range. I'll be writing copy + managing budget/bids + canva design. Anyway, good to know that the actual work is lower.

How many clients will you be handling for the agency?

I have no idea, I'm yet to close this client. But I'm guessing 2-3.

Then, I think your work would be at most 40 hours/work.

Ah great. Then I can use a couple hrs every day to learn stuff.
