Yep, they do but it’s usually through connects and referrals. There are very few companies that will hire you in India with a $70k marketing salary. Also, if it’s $70k, it’s probably a US company. UK/EU are way lesser.

@glamorous-wolf-66966, there are Indian companies paying $40k, so yeah, easily doable. The best way would be to start networking in your niche, freelance with a few companies and eventually pitch a full-time role. That way, you can ask for $70k, no problem.

I used to get paid $48k when I was working with a company. Now I run my own marketing agency. I know people who are getting paid more than $100k as well. All boils to how much ROI can you provide to the client.
