🔴 Hello people, @miniature-controller-60808 here is facing issue with receiving dollars on his Indian bank account. He says there are many formalities which need to be fulfilled before receiving money from abroad. Concerned bank is ICICI which asked him to get a current account. Have you faced such issues before ? 🤔 And how did you work around them ?? 🏦
Never faced this problem when receiving payment in USD from Upwork once or in SGD from a client

Never faced this issue for ICICI savings account while receiving money from Upwork (direct to bank) or Transferwise (Direct to bank) Not sure what his problem is? Can you explain properly the source of money and which tools are being used here?
Even paypal, Payoneer worked fine with ICICI account

Hey @miniature-controller-60808 can you share some more details here ?

yeah so I asked my client to do wire transfer in USD in my savings icici bank account
and then first time ICICI accepted and asked me not to do any more business transactions in savings account. even in first time I had t fill submit many documents in bank to get it credited to my savings account
and I had to open a current account for oversees payments and that requires me to open a registered proprietor or private firm.
